Book Review: A Moonbow Night

A Moonbow Night stole me away and transported me to the days of Daniel Boone, Kentucke, and gun-totin' heroes. (The heroine has my last name, which I thought was pretty cool.)
I loved it! At first I couldn't really understand what was going on and them WHAM! It was Amazing. (When is Laura Frantz not though?)
Sion Morgan is a surveyor, who is working for Temperance Tucker's enemy company.
Tempe is a back-woods girl who has previously had a chance with love with James Boone, the famous Daniel Boone's own firstborn son. Her ties with the Boone family are mentioned again and again throughout the book.
Tempe is the brave spitfire we girls always wish we were. She's the fairest shot with a gun and the prettiest girl this side of Kentucke.
The book had a unique quality; one that I haven't found in a while. It shows character, friendship, and an underlying tone of loyalty. I would recommend this book to anyone; family, friends, neighbors, strangers, dogs, etc... It's that good!  I like the fact that it can be read and you don't have to cringe because of the explicit content or cursing.
Let me also rave about that cover for a bit, isn't it magnificent?  It really is. It looks professional and interesting. The old saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover" doesn't apply here, because the book is just as good as its cover.
A five star review seems too low for this charmer. OH, By the way... It's available for purchase January 3, 2017.

Thank you for reading my review! It's been fun. If you have anymore questions please leave them in the comments below. I'll be happy to answer them.
Also, if you have any book/author recommendations I am open to hearing them.

I was given a copy of this book by NetGalley for an honest and complete review.
